The path around Mount Kailash is 52 kms long.Some pilgrims

1. bend down, 
2. kneels, 
3. pray, and 
4. then crawl forward on hands and knees to mark made by their fingers before repeating the process.

A 54-km journey, which takes an average of four days, is completed in nearly a month’s time.It is a common and popular belief that the stairways on Mount Kailash lead to heaven.
